About Our Club

The Skate Morinville Club is a proud Skate Canada sanctioned organization dedicated to fostering a love for skating in our community. Based at the state-of-the-art Morinville Leisure Centre, we provide a safe and encouraging environment for skaters of all levels.

From toddlers taking their first steps on ice at age 3 to competitive athletes perfecting their skills, our certified coaches are committed to helping every individual reach their full potential while embracing the joy of the sport.

Pre-CanSkate

Our flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners ages 3 and up.

Skaters build confidence while developing fundamental skills such as balance, control, and agility in a fun and supportive environment.

A comprehensive learn-to-skate program for all ages.

Skaters develop six essential movements—Go, Stop, Turn, Spin, Jump, and Forward and Backward Skating—while building a strong foundation on the ice.

Designed for skaters progressing through higher-level CanSkate badges (Levels 4–6), this group program introduces the fundamentals of figure skating, including basic skills in freeskate, dance, and edge work.
