CANSKATE is the Skate Canada flagship Learn To Skate Program. CanSkate Program focuses on fun, participation, and basic skill development. All classes are taught in a group format. The CANSKATE Program is based on skills of Balance ( forwards skills, pushing technique and edges), Control (backwards skills, stopping and speed elements) and Agility Skills (turning and jumping), using a nationally-tested and proven curriculum that supports skaters success in developing stronger basic skills on the ice. On ice delivery focuses on continuous movement, which includes a Fast Track, Fun Zone and Station Rotation Circuits. Coaching and Ice fees included in price. Skate Canada Membership Fee must be added to cost.
