Figure Skating Programs
INTRO-STAR ACADEMY
It is a group Figure Skating program for higher level CanSkaters.
Coaching fees and ice fees are included in the program

Criteria for moving into the Intro-Star Academy :
Passed CanSkate Three Badge or approval of SMC Head Coach.
Ages 5 and up but will consider younger skaters.
Ability to skate Forward and Backward and glide on one foot.
Figure Skates, Helmet is required until Badge 5 is completed of CanSkate.

Junior StarSkate
Skaters can choose from 1 to 2 days per week. This is the next step after the Intro-Star Academy.
Skaters are working towards the Star 1- Star 3 Assessments. This program is designed for skaters that are ready to handle individual practice. Group lesson is provided with skaters having the opportunity to book private lessons additional cost to advance their skills.

DROP IN ICE TIMES
For Non Members
Drop in ice arrangements must be made in advance. Email us at Skatemorinville@shaw.ca.
Skaters must have consent from our Head Coach in order to Drop In.
Drop in Rates:
SMC Member ( Currently registered in a program) - $15.00 per session.
Non SMC member -$25.00 per session
Guidelines:
Fees must be paid prior to getting on ice.
Skaters must be registered with Skate Canada in order to be on our drop in ice times.
Please advise what Club/ Skate Canada Organization you are registered with.
Skaters Must have consent from Head Coach in order to drop in. Drop in skaters must respect the coaches and skaters that are not in lesson. Those who do not follow the SMC rules will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
